Job Description
What our projects are about: We design, develop and maintain Enterprise BI/Data Warehouse/Data Lake for clients in various domains. Depending on our availability and your suitability, you may be assigned to projects with English-speaking or Vietnamese-speaking clients, on-premises or cloud technologies etc. You will work with the following roles: Project Manager, Data Architect, Data Analyst, Data Scientist.
- Build optimal data pipelines: Ingestion, Processing, Cleansing and Transformation, Visualization … Data governance and security.
- Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using various technologies (ex: Apache spark, Apache flink, Apache Nifi, Apache Kafka, Hadoop, Minio, K8S/Docker, Trino, IceBerg…).
- Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, redesigning infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.
- Collaborate with clients and internal cross-functional teams including the Executive, Product, Data, and Business teams
- Work with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in our data systems
- Collaborate with Devops team to deploy data projects as per project requirements
What are we looking for
- At least 3-5 years experience in Data Engineer
- Experience in Software Engineering
- Proven track in building team of Data Engineer
- Proficient in one of the programming languages Java, Scala, Python and must have a firm grasp of key concepts in programming languages such as: multi-threaded programming, synchronization, database processing, file processing, logging, basic data processing algorithms, data testing …
- Experience with RDBMS (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL); Linux (bash scripts, firewall,…); Git, Kafka, Spark, Hadoop, Airflow
- Knowledge of test, document in the projects you have done
- Efficient consulting skill
- Preferred:
- Monitoring, Logging: ELK Stack, Grafana;
- Experience with NoSQL Database (MongoDB, Neo4J, Cassandra), Backend (Spring, FastAPI, Akka)
- Ability to design architectures; model for a systems in level average.
