Job description:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement backend services.
- Utilize modern Java technologies to enhance system performance, security, and scalability.
- Maintain a clean codebase, adhering to best practices for upgrades and maintenance.
- Contribute to code reviews and apply debugging skills to ensure system reliability.
- Foster a team culture that values diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.
- Comply with customer processes/regulations.
What are we looking for:
- At least 3 years of experience with Java
- Experience in finance/banking is a plus
- Proficiency in Java core, OOP, data structures, and algorithms
- Expertise in Java Spring Framework (Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring JPA, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of SQL databases.
- Understanding of testing methods and frameworks
- Experience with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes (K8S) is a big plus
- Proficiency in version control (Git, SVN)
- Understanding of Microservices architecture
- Familiarity with build and project management tools: Maven, Gradle, Jira, Confluence
- Ability to read and understand English documentation.
